Product Care

IceLink jewelry is extremely well crafted and if cared for properly can be enjoyed for ages. Our artisan’s carefully inspect each and every piece for structural integrity, visual beauty and fine craftsmanship to ensure you’re getting a premium work of art. Please follow these care tips below to ensure you’re doing your part to preserve your jewelry.

QualityOur everyday Icelink jewelry is primarily created with brass metal that is plated with 14k gold, rhodium, vermeil or 14k rose gold. Many pieces also feature cubic zirconia. We also specialize in stainless steel, 10K, and 14K jewelry which will be stated in the item's description. Our jewelry is also nickel-free and lead-free.

Daily Care: Protect your jewelry and its plating by removing it while swimming, showering, exercising, washing your hands, or applying any products such as perfumes, lotions, or hair products. We pride ourselves on the quality of our product; however, if your jewelry should be exposed to any of the above products, tarnishing may occur. Tarnishing may also be caused by the skin’s natural pH levels.

Cleaning Instructions: Clean your piece with a soft cloth and rub gently; it can be scratched if you aren’t careful. Never use over-the-counter jewelry cleaners. To ensure the longevity of the piece, avoid exposing to water, fragrance, lotion, direct heat, and abrasive chemicals. There are instances you can’t control jewelry being exposed to such as oxygen, air pollutants that can affect the appearance of your piece. This varies depending on your body chemistry.

As a general rule, your jewelry should be the last thing on and the first thing off when getting dressed. These simple steps will help keep your pieces looking brilliant for years to come.

Taking care of straps are simple & easy as can be. To clean your rubber/ silicone strap you can take a wipe or clean damp cloth and gently rub the strap. To clean you leather strap pat down with a damp cloth. Avoid using a wet cloth or immersing/soaking the leather in water. To clean metal bands rub gently with a soft cloth.

Properly store your jewelry: Proper jewelry storage is essential to the life span of your pieces. When not in use store your jewelry in a box or soft pouch. Jewelry can draw moisture from the air which can cause it to oxidize rapidly, so storing in a safe dry place is key.
